[Pythonmac-SIG] Silly question? Database server (Mac OS 9 / Mac OS x / PC-Win)

It is possible to run MySQL on Mac OS X. I tried it. If I remember
correctly, the source distribution for Unix could be built right out of =
the
box. I switched to Lutris InstantDB however, because this RDBMS was =
more
convenient for my pure Java (not Python) application.
