Just ported a customer application to the
Mac, a platform about which I know next to
nothing. This is a clean installation
of Python 2.1 on Mac OS 9.1. The command
line apps work fine, but when I try to do
anything with Tkinter I get this:

> Traceback (most recent call last):
> File "S9916:Applications:Python
2.1:Pmw:Pmw_0_8_5:demos:AboutDialog.py",

> File "s9916:applications:python 2.1:lib:lib-tk:Tkinter.py", line

configured for

> ImportError: Tkinter not supported under Carbon (yet).

We aren't running OS X! Does anyone else have this problem?
Is there a known problem with Tkinter on Python 2.1.

Apologies if this is an FAQ - I just joined the SIG.
