[Pythonmac-SIG] QuickTime Musical Instruments?

Hello everyone,


Just van Rossum suggested I join the list to ask about some 
non-typographic Python things*. Today, I'm wondering whether there's any 
facility for operating QuickTime Musical Instruments from within Python 
-- if anyone has any experience with this, I'd love to learn more about 
it.

*By way of introduction, I'm a typeface designer who came to Python a few 
years ago through RoboFog. (While I do a lot of scripting, I'm most 
definitely a newbie, so please be gentle, and forgive any clay-footed 
blunders!) I look forward to seeing what everyone's up to.
