[Pythonmac-SIG] Strange question.....string -> Filehandle

If by "filehandle" you mean "MacOS Filehandle" there's little choice but 
writing it out to file. The macos API knows very little about Python strings 
or the Python API.

If by "filehandle" you mean "Python file object" you should lookat the 
StringIO class, this does what you want.
