[Pythonmac-SIG] Tkinter on the MAC? and a Memory Error??

Hi,

I have a couple of questions:

1.       Is there a working version of Tkinter with Python for the MAC so
that the IDLE console can be used?  The python version we need this to work
in is 1.5.2 due to the fact that this is the version we currently
dynamically link with from our application.  If this is not possible is
there an alternative IDE for debugging scripts from within our product (so
that internal functions and variables are available).
2.       On another note I have a script to parse source files to modify the
carriage return line feeds so that they are MAC compatible but after parsing
just over half of them I get a Memory Error, so how do I increase the Memory
for the PythonInterpreter or IDE or better how do I free/reallocate memory
within my script as I loop through the files.
