[Pythonmac-SIG] IOError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted

Hi all,
I am writing a file with Python and most of the time it is cool, but sometimes i get:

IOError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: 'sys:Desktop Folder:ScoobyDoobyDoo.txt'

If i run it again it is fine. It only happens sometimes.

MacOS 9.2.1, Python 2.2


I am doing this in the regular interpreter w carbon (not the IDE)

Any ideas?
