Exactly what I am looking for also. You might be able to build on
the Form Designer from GNU Enterprise. It is based on unix python.
It currently is targeted towards wxWindows but it is XML and object
based. And I have the CORBA middleware server working on OS X.
If you could work with the GNU Enterprise team it would help us
provide enterprise software tools for the MAC community.
I would love to talk more with you about how this might be done.
