[Pythonmac-SIG] Python.org and Mac

To further confuse issues, some people have been using the 2.2.x disk images
posted at:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=10718

current one is MachoPython-2.2.1-3.dmg

This is a framework build and designed to be used with wxPython Mac
previews. Is it the same as builds Jack has been making? I don't know. Is it
the same as the MachoPython Apple will be distributing with Jaguar? I don't
know. So, more confusion.

If there are going to be a lot of different distributions of MachoPython on
Mac OS X it would be nice to know what the differences are, whether it is
going to matter for users or people developing other packages for use on the
Mac and so on. The Mac is not my primary platform so I'm without a clue, I
just go with the disk images I know work.
