[Pythonmac-SIG] test bufio failure

Hello, I have downloaded Python 2.2.1 for Macintosh. I have OS
9.1.1. In the readme included with the download it suggested running test
after installation.

"It is probably a good idea to run the automatic tests. Start
Python and "import test.regrtest ; test.regrtest.main()". "

I did this and during testing it stops on "test_bufio" and freezes.
I was wondering what the problem was and if it could be remedied.
