[Pythonmac-SIG] 10.2 linking headaches

Hi,

I recently upgraded to OS X 10.2 plus the new dev tools update,
but still get strange linking errors saying something about
missing symbols, e.g. when compiling GNU Readline 4.3 (see
below). Is this something related to Apple's switch to the
new gcc 3.1, maybe?
