[Pythonmac-SIG] scrollback?

If there was an answer to this question I never saw it, but I now realize I
have the same issue with 2.3 in the Terminal; sorry I didn't mention it
earlier. I'm assuming I need to set something for my TERM or TERMCAP
environment variables?

Pressing the Up arrow show give you the previously typed command in the
shell at the >>> prompt, instead it just shows the VT100 escape sequence for
the up arrow.
