I want to do database work, a little crypto for the math, general 
internet programing. Are there any books that would fulfill my needs?

Can you do 3d graphics with the opengl lib if so where do I begin?
I was learning opengl on X windows in C until my Linux machine was 
stolen.

By the way what does everyone do with python?
What kind of things do you do with it daily?
