[Pythonmac-SIG] Rpy in IDLE and PythonIDE

This is peculiar. If I "from rpy import *" in IDLE it starts leaking
memory right away (with ProcessViewer open, one sees it
going), but no such thing happens in PythonIDE. It is known
that Rpy has leaks, but why doesn't it happen in PythonIDE,
only in IDLE ?

For what it's worth: there also does not seem to be any
leakage in pycrust/pyshell when importing and working with rpy.
