Another remark:
On an existing script, working with the 2.2 (pop3proxy.py from
Spambayes), I get the following error:

   File "/Volumes/OS99/spambayesdev/spambayes/dbmstorage.py", line 16,
in open_dbhash
     import bsddb
   File
"/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/lib/python2.3/bsddb/__init__.py",
line 40, in ?
     import _bsddb
ImportError: Failure linking new module: /sw/lib/libdb-3.3.dylib:
dyld: /usr/local/bin/python can't open library:
/sw/lib/libdb-3.3.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

I have fink installed. But I never downloaded the fink version of Python.

Is it needed for your distribution to work ?
