Hey, we use Macs for a -reason- here :-)

Seriously, I really like the 16 ton weight; if it's a bit cryptic, who
cares, at least it's symbolic and a lot easier to draw than a snake.
People should be aware of the -real- origin of the name Python.

What we do need is someone who can draw a non-pixelated Aqua-ish
version, and that ain't me.

A somewhat related question - why is MacPython not hosted on
python.org?  It does make it seem a bit like the neglected stepchild
to have it off on its own site when the Windows/Unix Python versions
are directly there.  (Even though using Python on the Mac has been
easier and more fun in the past year than I can ever
remember before... thanks everyone!)
