[Pythonmac-SIG] Xcode & Python

Hello list!

I'm new to Python. I'm looking for a good tool to write and check 
scripts. Just read that Xcode seems to support Python but I can't find 
any issues about Python in Xcodes help.

Also I've been on the PythonMac.org wiki and downloaded and unpacked 
XPython but couldn't see any changes ...

Can anyone help me how to start ... using the terminal alone is a pain.
