[Pythonmac-SIG] my first (and hopefully easy) tkinter question

i write the script in the pythonIDE and then click in "run all". not 
only does the root-window disappear, but also pythonIDE quits 
immediately.
(but saving the script as applet and then double-clicking it from the 
finder works well.)
