Yes, of course.  I'm pretty sure he was suggestion that OSA component 
support should be bundled with the mainline distribution of 2.4.0, 
which isn't going to happen.  OSA Component support could of course be 
made available for any reasonable version of Python, but since no 
implementation exists yet, it won't ship with the next major release of 
Python :)
