Didn't there used to be a PM package for PyGame? Is this something
you're working on Bob? Doh, I forgot to look at:
http://undefined.org/python/pimp/
Well, I went ahead and opened that plist and then tried doing an
install and received the following error message in verbose mode:
Problem with dependency: (WriteableBin): This package cannot be
installed automatically (no Download-URL field)
Problem with dependency: (WriteableInclude): This package cannot be
installed automatically (no Download-URL field)
Problem with dependency: (WriteableBin): This package cannot be
installed automatically (no Download-URL field)
Problem with dependency: (WriteableInclude): This package cannot be
installed automatically (no Download-URL field)
Do I have to manually install each dependency for PyGame? I thought the
PM was supposed to handle that. The error above doesn't indicate which
package it failed on, but I know that I don't have any of the
dependencies listed for PyGame installed on my Panther box.
Also, has anyone ever ported PyUI to work on Mac OS X? My understanding
is that it only works on Windows. I'm curious about checking out the
Game Programming with Python book by Sean Riley but apparently it
relies on PyUI for much of the example code?!
