I used py2app 0.1.1. I built py2applet and drag'n'dropped my script on 
the icon.
The script uses stdlib and CoreGraphics (don't know if it's stdlib but 
it lives in the 10.3 default Python)

Humm... I don't think so. The only Python.framework I can see is under 
/System/Library/Frameworks (I gess this is the usual).
