I was thinking along the lines of the "Generic Java  
Application" [icon][1].  I think it's useful to visually distinguish  
between applets made with Applet Builder.app, and those made with  
py2app.  The py2app apps should hopefully be much more like regular  
OS X applications.  The icon is more about what the thing can do for  
me than what it is deep down, IMO.

But what did you have in mind for an "variation" applet icon?  Feel  
free to mock something up yourself using my [photoshop file][2], or  
bounce specific ideas along.
