It's FOSS, hosted on SourceForge, under the MIT license.

In summary, it's a bit like a PA system for an office receptionist to
announce things like "The sandwich van is outside".
It's Python, Pyro and wxPython and some as-yet-unreleased wxPython
extras called AGW.
