[Pythonmac-SIG] .ppc on intel still possible?

Hi all,

Would someone please confirm or deny that as from OS 10.5.6 it is no  
longer possible to instantiate .ppc binaries?
I'm pretty sure is was still possible under 10.5.x (for x<6)
