2.6.* for me -- I have some older stuff still on 2.5.*, but I'm 
perfectly happy to port that when I need to update.

Backward compatibility is nice, but if it gets in the way of getting 
things done, it shouldn't be too big a deal to do it -- it's easier to 
port code to a newer python than an older one.
