Fwd: Fun with skimage

If we want popular exposure, stuff like 

   - Small snippets that can create Instagram-like filters in a few lines.
   - Fiddling with transforms to yield some interesting effects.
   - Perhaps combination face detection + transforms?

would probably track quite well.
