Good idea - using transform.AffineTransform is much nicer. Updated.

Thanks, yes, it was a really fun project. I've always been on the software 
side, but there's a huge maker/DIY movement going on in 
hardware/electronics at the moment. Lots of cool opportunities for embedded 
image processing & computer vision applications.
