[SciPy-Dev] Feature enhancement

Hi,
Can I work on Normal inverse gamma distribution’s addition to Scipy (Issue
#6528), if no one has taken that up yet. And as I’m a bit new to Open
source, so please brief, if any, implementation details to make the PR
suitable for scipy.
