Yes Andy, this looks quite nice!

I would suggest one thing: we could recycle our description of one of the
conferences to describe what all these conferences are at the top of the
page. Currently, one would have to choose one of the 3 conferences to know
what they are about. Something like (please adjust number of days based on
what is true for all 3 conferences):

The annual SciPy Conferences allows participants from academic, commercial,
and governmental organizations to showcase their latest Scientific Python
projects, learn from skilled users and developers, and collaborate on code
development. The conference consists of multiple days of tutorials followed
by two-three days of presentations, and concludes with 1-2 days developer
sprints on projects of interest to the attendees. Select one of the
conferences (USA, Europe, India) to get a more precise feel for what the
next edition will bring you.
And a cool image to go with it goes a long way to get it...
