[Scipy-organizers] SciPy 2014 registration

Dear SciPy 2014 organizers,

I am currently a graduate student in the Astronomy Department at the University of Florida. I was thinking of switching to a Python user from an IDL user and SciPy2014 is a very good opportunity to learn a lot of stuff about Python. I'm wondering if I'm welcome to attend the conference as a participant/learner but not a contributor.  When will the early registration begin? Can I get a student price?
