[Scipy-organizers] Registration for SciPy2014 in Austin in July

Hello Liz,

Thanks for reaching out. Our conference is community supported and
basically on the honor system for rates. The intention was for
academic to mean people working at degree granting institutions with a
discount to help them afford the ability to come. If your group feels
that you are academic in nature, which I am not able to judge from
your work, and the discount enables you to decide to come, then feel
free to use that rate. Otherwise we encourage you to use the corporate
rate and help sustain our community through the full conference price.
