[SciPy-user] Confused Newbie

Nils,
Thank You for the detailed howto... At this point I would like to try
using SciPy 0.2 so I won't worry about the performance so much, and will
leave the atlas lapack libs "as is". But I'm frustrated that I must have
missed something since you suggest I just cp *.a /usr/local/lib/atlas
since I use /usr/lib ... Did I omit to sepcify --prefix somewhere or
does it not matter where I install the *.a and *.h ?
For example in my RH7.2, into: cp *h /usr/include/atlas and cp *a
/usr/lib/atlas
