[SciPy-user] building scipy

hello,

Isn't it possible to use something like scipy.base instead of Numeric? 
Because if I understand it right scipy_core should replace Numeric...

Again a more general question raises: "What was before Numeric is 
now...?" --> To use old python programs I have to replace "from Numeric 
import */ import Numeric" by what?
