Sorry if I missed the blindingly obvious, but a URL for the tarballs (do they 
exist?) would be most appreciated at this point (I have a friend looking for 
it, and I'm embarrassed to say that I can't seem to find it).  As a hook: this 
friend may test the build on Itanium boxes, so I'd like to respond to him 
soonish :)  If it's just an SVN pull that's fine, just let me know and I'll 
pass the info along.
