[SciPy-user] scipy.signal.convolve speed depending on order of parameters

Hi,

One of my colleagues is complaining that the speed of
scipy.signal.convolve depends on the order of the arrays passed to the
convolve call. He woul like some magic optimisation here. I told him this
was the kind of optimisation left to the user but he still isn't happy,
so I am propagating his remark here to have other people's opinions.
