[SciPy-user] Finding a function

Hello,
it wanted to say, that i really know this problem.

I started scipy half a year ago and everything took long to understand
it.

At the moment there is a computational physics course at my universite
and i know that a lot of other student have to deal with the same
problem.

So, is there a really fast and practical way to find the functions in
scipy?
