[SciPy-user] Segmentation code

Hi,
I want to do some image segmentation. I see that ndimage does have some segmentation algorithms implemented, but these committs are very new. Will they be in scipy at some point? Any suggestions for trying some "off-the-shelf" segmentation algorithms with scipy?
