Hi all,

As you may already know, Python(x,y) is a free scientific-oriented
Python Distribution based on Qt and Eclipse providing a self-consistent
scientific development environment.

Release 2.1.0 has introduced a new plugin system allowing easy update
(http://www.pythonxy.com/standard.php) and fully customizable installation:

Third-party plugins are now available
(http://www.pythonxy.com/additional.php) - please do not hesitate to
contribute and create your own thanks to the SDK.

From now on, releases will be scheduled monthly.
However, next release will somehow be available continously because
future plugins will be available separately. For example, NumPy 1.2.0,
VTK 5.2.0 or ETS 3.0.2 are already available at
http://www.pythonxy.com/additional.php.

Regards,
Pierre Raybaut
