And of course, I messed this up. It was David Goldsmith, not David  
Cournapeau, who said this. Too many Davids on this list.

Interestingly enough, David Goldsmith's name cannot be used on the  
wiki as "Gold" is a banned word for spam protection reasons, hence  
G*ldsmith on the BoF wiki page :P
