Summary: Lost Spam folders; Corrupted installation

Initial Comment:
I installed version 8 last week (within Outlook 2002) and
everything was fine until tonight. For some reason
when I clicked on the Junk folder I got a message that
the folder couldn't be found. So I (probably wrongly)
decided to delete the Junk folder (forget its actual
name) and uninstalled SpamBayes. I reinstalled it
thinking the two Spam folders (questionable and actual
Spam) would be re-created. During the re-install I was
given no installation options. Now I have the program
installed but filtering is disabled because the two folders
are missing. To be save I again uninstalled SpamBayes
and deleted the SpamBayes Toolbar through
Outlook/Tools/Customize/Toolbars.

What can I do at this point? I assumed that by
uninstalling the program I'd also delete any configuration
files but apparently that is not the case. Re-installed
SpamBayes doesn't re-create the required folders and I
am given no setup options. I noticed that I also cannot
use the Configuration Setup button. If I click on it
nothing happens. I really like this program and hope you
can get me back on the right track.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Bob A.

Try deleting *.ini from your Application Data\SpamBayes
directory, and restarting Outlook. This bug has been fixed
in the source code.
