Summary: Outlook 2000 & SMTP auth problems

Initial Comment:
This is exactly the same problem as bug # 887256

Install Outlook 2000 - Sends & recieves fine
Install SpamBayes 1.0rc2 - Can receive, cannot send.
The same error as bug # 887256 occurs.

Open task manager and Mapisp32.exe and Outlook.exe are
running. Mapisp32.exe runs with high cpu usage.

Remove and reinstall office makes no difference. Have
to download and install MS Office 2003 Resource Kit to
completely remove Office then do a fresh install.

Outlook then sends and receives fine. Reinstall
SpamBayes 1.0rc2 and all the problems start again.

I have repeated this 3 times now just to be sure...

The previous version of spambayes does not cause this
problem.

Please use that tracker to comment on this problem. It
would be worth noting (there) whether you have tried the
suggested fix, and what the result was.
