Summary: New class of Spam?

Initial Comment:
Windows XP Professional Version 5.1 2600 Service pack build 2600
Outlook 2000 SP-3 (9.0.0.6627)
SpamBayes 1.0.4

I have checked through the bug reports and FAQ and don't see anyone reporting this. I suspect this isn't a bug per se, but a new type of spam designed to thwart Bayesian filters.

In the last two days I started receiving a handful of spam messages that seem to be a new class of spam. They do not go to either Junk Suspects or Spam, and go directly to the Inbox. Once in the Inbox, if you click "Delete As Spam" the messages simple remain in the Inbox. I have not opened any of the messages (nor do intend to), but I tested that you can manually delete them and you can also right click and select "move to folder" and move the e-mail to the Spam folder.

When this first occurred, I checked for a newer version of SpamBayes and downloaded and installed it. Since installing 1.0.4 I received 4 new messages that performed the same way.

I have saved one of these messages and can forward it to someone if they want an example. Sender name is "Nunya Pieper" and Subject is "macaroni message from Nunya"

From: "Nunya Pieper" <hammockreformer at naftan.vitebsk.by>

Thanks to all for your hardwork the effort to support SpamBayes!
