This bug has already been reported but it did not have a 
log file entry - so I have provided what appeared in my 
log file:

IndexError: list index out of range

Hoping to see a fix soon.  will installing the Source code 
version help?

I ran into the same thing; the docs/troubleshooting.html says 
"Note that running regsvr32.exe spambayes_addin.dll from the
SpamBayes directory may also solve this problem"

It did solve the problem.  I am training now.  Hope this helps.
