Problem reports about the 1.0a6 db-closed bug are starting to become more
common, adding more weight to Skip's suggestion to put out a new release.
There hasn't been all that much done to the 1_0 branch apart from this (a
few imapfilter and smtpproxy bugs fixed), but this is quite wide reaching
(and comes in under a variety of descriptions).

Thoughts about putting out a new release?  Skip suggested that we also try
and figure some way around the problem that a couple of people have reported
where setup.py can't import spambayes.__version__, but nothing's been done
about this so far.  (Unfortunately none of the OP's have reported back that
this was, indeed, the problem, which would have been nice).

Along similar lines, since our goal was to use the feature freeze to try and
get a 1.0b1 out (and then, presumably 1.0 final, with various b2/rc1 etcs in
the middle), does anyone have some sort of timeline in mind?
