I'm quite happy for someone to spend the time making the website look
pretty, but I'm completely unimpressed with the idea of using PHP. We
have bits of it at work (along with large amounts of python) and it's
a pig to maintain.
All the pages are generated using ht2html, and this is easily tweakable
and changeable to make the site "more pretty". I don't see much point to
making the site have an all-singing, all-dancing web-accessible frontend
for updating it - it's not like there's that many things that need to be
updated on a regular basis.
