[spambayes-dev] Spambayes and the Debian Project

I am a dedicated user of spambayes, a Python programmer, and I have some
experience with Debian packaging.

I can volunteer a small and non-specific amount of time to look at
spambayes bugs in the debian bts, particularly "RC" bugs which would
lead to the package's removal from Debian.

... earlier today I submitted a patch for one debian bug,
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=789564 though my
analysis leads me to believe that the naming incompatibility in
python-lockfile doesn't actually affect spambayes.
