[Spambayes] training on cyrus style mailboxes

I have a cyrus imap store. i want to train spambayes on these mail boxes.
They are (like maildir) one file per message, but alo differ to maildir
in a number of ways.

does anyone know how to train on such mailboxes? Once i've got it
trained I am reasonably confident I can get it to plug into my
postfix-procmail-cyrus chain (spamassassin currently working, but not
well enough!)
