Unfortunately, *nothing* works with Outlook 97 anymore. Outlook 97 was
released in mid-1996. SpamBayes requires Outlook 2000 or newer. 

You're using software which is more than 7 years old, which is an
eternity in the computer world. That's not unlike using a car that's
more than 50 years old, and expecting new parts to fit it. It just won't
happen. 

I'd strongly suggest an upgrade of some sort, if only for security's
sake. If you don't want to pay for a new version from Microsoft, there
are lots of free email/personal organizers for Windows out there to
choose from. Some of them even import Outlook files, and would work with
the POP3/IMAP version of SpamBayes.
