[Spambayes] training

I have installed SpamBayes and set up the Spam and UnsureSpam folders
for training.  I am trying to train SpamBayes by selecting the
appropriate folders by selecting Browse but none of the subfolders of my
mailbox (at the topmost level) are displayed.  I double click on the
folder name, I click on the + sign, check the box for my mailbox and I
get nothing.

What can I do?
