The next release (003) of the plugin is due out any day now (as soon as
Mark gets a chance).  This should work with Win98, so you could use
that.  If you subscribe to the -announce list you'll get a message when
the binary is released.

Alternatively, you can use a source version (alpha3 or CVS) of the
plug-in.  The 'windows' page of the website has step-by-step
instructions for doing this:
