Wouldn't it be possible to create a sound feature in SpamBayes that works
even with the proxy service, and turn off the sound notification in the
email clients themselves so the only SpamBayes is providing alerts?

I'm not a programmer, but it seems to me that trying to manipulate the
myriad email clients, especially Outlook, is bound to turn one's hair gray
prematurely. Just turn off the clients notifications and let SpamBayes
handle it all.

Just a thought.
